Le nomination agli Oscar 2024 sono state annunciate oggi, martedì 23 gennaio, alle 14:00 ora italiana al Samuel Goldwyn Theatre di Beverly Hills. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà invece il 10 marzo 2024 nella consueta location del Dolby Thatre di Los Angeles. Tra i 12 film italiani in lizza per la nomination dell’Italia per gli Oscar, lo scorso settembre è stato scelto Io Capitano di Matteo Garrone. La pellicola sui migranti, che tanto ha commosso il pubblico italiano e conquistato quello internazionale nelle sue prime proiezioni all’estero, è stata candidata agli Oscar 2024 come miglior film straniero.
